Cartoons

There's not a big difference between cartoons and illustrations. I call drawings "cartoons" when they're sequential art or self-contained messages. Lately I'm being drawn to (no pun intended) political cartooning. We'll see where that impulse leads. There is so much to make fun of. Drawing is better than shooting yourself in the head.

These drawings are from a comic strip I was working on for a while. At the moment I'm thinking I'd like to use these characters in a slightly different sequential art form . . . more graphic novel or kid's book, less comic strip.
